Meet the Strive Team

Gretchen

Gretchen is the manager of SHF, as well as a class instructor. You can usually find her working at the front desk, cleaning ALL. THE. THINGS, or teaching our weekly HIIT and pilates classes. She is a 2008 graduate of Bluffton University, with a Major in Sport Management and a Minor in Business Administration. From there, Gretchen began working in the fitness industry but took a break to work an office job in 2014 in order to have more time with her young family.

In 2020, Gretchen got back into the fitness industry through teaching here at Strive. When a management position became available with us in 2022, she decided to leave her office job and jump back into the fitness industry full-time!

I love being here to help everyone achieve their fitness goals.

At one point I was a soccer and softball player.  Now I enjoy all things cardio and force myself to weight train.  My current fitness goal is muscle definition.  I played sports through college and have never had much definition.

My family has lived in the Loudonville area since 2016.  We enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, and recently we have started running 5k's together.

Tyler

Tyler has been employed at Strive since 2024, but was a member for a long time before that. You can find him behind the desk selling memberships, on the floor keeping the gym space clean, and most recently, training clients as a personal trainer. Tyler received his Personal Training Certificate in 2025 after finding a passion for fitness through his own health journey and is excited to help others navigate their own journey to health.

Hi, I’m Tyler Frontz— a certified personal trainer and fitness coach passionate about helping people transform not just their bodies, but their lives.

My own journey started with frustration and setbacks. I struggled with weight, confidence, and consistency, but eventually discovered the power of structured training and realistic nutrition. That experience shaped the way I coach today: with empathy, strategy, and an emphasis on long-term success.

I work with busy men and women who are tired of quick fixes and ready for real change. My coaching blends customized training, simple nutrition guidance, and consistent accountability so you can lose fat, build strength, and feel confident in your own skin—without giving up your favorite foods or spending endless hours in the gym.

Fitness doesn’t have to control your life. My goal is to show you how to fit it into your lifestyle so you can look, feel, and perform at your best for years to come.
